Lifestreams - mashuped services
The purpose of lifestreams is to collect all your streams from all your Social Media sites. They’re sometimes also called mashup services, as Wikipedia describes it: “A digital mashup is a digital media file containing any or all of text, graphics, audio, video and animation drawn from pre-existing sources, to create a new derivative work.”
There are a couple I’m going to run through in this short expose and if you see any I haven’t mentioned here, please bare with me.
Friendfeed - is the first service I started using myself, it’s a Lifestream service where you can feed virtually everything into. Here’s a
to let you see how it looks!
Lifestream.fm - This one is one of my personal favorites, however this service is still in private Beta, so one needs to have an invite to start using it
.
Socialthing - This is a little simpler in my opinion, but it works nicely.
Profilactic - This Lifestream supports a massive 190 sites now(!) and if you´re looking for a complete service I think this one is the one for you!

Secondbrain - Is a new service too me, but it looks quite good so far. I just started off with this service so its hard to tell.
