You may use Taskix for free providing you don't
sell it or promote it as your own.
If you think it improves your efficiency at the
computer and would like to pay for it a small
amount of money, please use the Paypal Donate
button below on this page. You will have a link
to this page at the bottom of the Taskix control
window (see screenshot below).
By downloading and installing Taskix, you agree
that you will use it entirely on your own risk.

How
to Start It
| |
|
Each
ZIP contains 2 files: an EXE and a DLL. Extract
them and place them together in one folder of
your choice. If you upgrade from a previous version,
deactivate and delete it first. The EXE opens
a control window (see below) from where you can
activate and deactivate Taskix and specify if
you want it to be automatically activated when
you start Windows.

The
following command line parameters are available:
start, stop and toggle. These
can be used to prepare shortcuts to control Taskix
without opening the control window. Toggle
means Taskix will activate if it's inactive and
deactivate if it's active.

|
How
to Use It
| |
|
Simply
drag-and-drop the button you want to move. Note
that if "Group similar taskbar buttons"
is set, you will be able to move a button inside
the group or move the group as a whole, but not
to move a button out of its group. If by opening
many windows the buttons in a group become stacked
up one over the other, Taskix will also allow you
to reorder them inside the stack. |
